Proffer has more than 35 years of business experience, primarily dedicated to managing relationships with the financial community as the investor relations executive for a number of public companies of varying sizes in diverse industries. It is her extensive experience of providing internal investor relations counsel to corporate executives which led to the inception of The Heights.

Proffer earned a Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University, a Master’s degree in Communication from Saint Louis University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and served on the Board of Directors for the NIRI San Francisco Chapter for many years.
